National Park ‘Washington Slagbaai’

National Park Washington Slagbaai is an ecological reserve on the northwestern part of Bonaire. It is managed by STINAPA Bonaire. Washington Slagbaai was the first nature reserve to be established in the Netherlands Antilles in 1969, covering approximately a fifth of the island.

We offer the option to book a private guide for your group of maximum four people and show you the National Park above and under water! The Park has a lot to offer above and under water. From parrots and hummingbirds to iguanas and donkeys, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Divers can do two dives on this day and see the coral reefs in the park. Non-divers will get time to snorkel or relax on the beach. This is a great way to have a day out with your family and/or friends and do some dives or go snorkeling with one of our knowledgeable guides.
